Automation

One system. Every room.

Centralised Control

One interface, every system.

A single, centralised platform that pulls lighting, climate, blinds, audio and security into one quiet rhythm.

Whether you reach for the wall keypad, the tablet, your phone or your voice - the experience is the same. Considered, consistent, and quietly responsive.

Approach

How we deliver automation.

True home automation Perth homeowners want isn't an app for every brand. It's one interface - wall keypad, touchscreen, voice or phone, that runs the whole house.

We design and engineer integrated platforms so your everyday scenes (Morning, Cinema, Goodnight) just work, on day one and a decade later.

The mistake we see most often in Perth is a house full of good devices that don't talk to each other - Hue lights, Nest thermostat, Ring doorbell, Sonos speakers, Yale lock, a Somfy blind motor - each with its own app, each with its own reliability, and no coherent way to use them together. We start every project by removing that fragmentation.

Control4, Crestron, Savant and Home Assistant are the four platforms we deploy. Each has a place: Control4 for the mainstream luxury home, Crestron for the reference-grade architectural build, Savant for the tightly integrated audio-first residence, Home Assistant for the technically curious homeowner who wants full ownership and no monthly fees.

What all four give you is one interface, one truth. A single Goodnight scene locks the doors, arms the perimeter, drops the lights over 90 seconds, closes the bedroom blinds, sets the aircon back 2°C and tells the kitchen speakers to stop playing. One tap, one voice command, one keypad press. That's what a real home automation system does - and it's what we deliver.

01 · Detail

Scenes that make the house feel considered.

Scenes are the single biggest quality-of-life feature of a well-designed automation platform. We build them around how you actually live, not a demo showreel. Every job starts with a two-hour scene workshop on site, walking room by room, working out what the house should do at each part of the day.

Typical scenes we programme in a Perth home:

  • 01Morning: blinds up over 3 minutes, kitchen lights warm, ABC or Spotify on speakers, aircon to 22°C.
  • 02Away: lights off, aircon back, perimeter armed, cameras recording, garage confirmed closed.
  • 03Cinema: theatre lights dim to 5%, blinds down, aircon to 20°C, AV projector on, phones on Do Not Disturb.
  • 04Goodnight: doors locked, alarm armed, downstairs off, bedroom lights fade over 90 seconds.
  • 05Guest: guest-room lights and climate on, guest Wi-Fi active, front-door code active for the weekend.

One platform, every subsystem.

We integrate every subsystem in the house so a single interface controls everything. That includes older non-smart hardware - a ducted Daikin from 2015, a Somfy blind from a previous fit-out, a Bosch alarm panel - all of which we can drive from the central platform through the right bridge.

The result: no more app-per-device, and no dead ends when a brand changes its API or shuts down its cloud.

  • 01Lighting (Lutron, Dynalite, DALI, Philips Hue Pro, Aqara).
  • 02Climate (Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Ecobee, Nest, hydronic).
  • 03Blinds and curtains (Lutron Sivoia, Somfy, Silent Gliss).
  • 04Audio (Sonos, Sonance, JBL Synthesis, Bluesound).
  • 05Security (Bosch, Paradox, Ubiquiti Protect, Reolink).
  • 06Access (Aqara, Salto, ButterflyMX, UniFi Access).

Engineered to still work in ten years.

Automation platforms fail slowly. A cloud goes down, a brand pivots, an integration breaks in a firmware update. We defend against that by choosing platforms with a decade-long track record, keeping automation logic local wherever possible, and documenting every integration so any competent installer can pick up the system in five years.

Every install is handed over with a full as-built pack, remote support agreement, and 10-year workmanship warranty on the labour.

FAQs

Frequently asked.

Quick answers to what Perth clients ask about automation. Anything we haven't covered? Get in touch.

Which platform is right for my home?

Home Assistant if you want ownership and no fees. Control4 for a plug-and-play luxury home. Crestron for architectural new-builds. Savant for audio-first homes. We recommend after a site visit.

Can you integrate my existing devices?

Almost always. Most current Sonos, Hue, Nest, Ring, Yale, Somfy and ducted-aircon systems integrate cleanly. We audit what you have before quoting a replacement.

Do I need to redo my wiring?

Sometimes. Lutron RadioRA and wireless keypads let us retrofit without rewiring. Full Lutron HomeWorks or Crestron systems usually need cabling, best done during a renovation.

How much does a whole-home automation system cost?

Entry-level retrofit $18-35k, full luxury new-build $80-250k, reference-grade Crestron/Lutron architectural $250k+. All figures supplied and installed.
