One interface, every system.

Dedicated theatre rooms and discreet media spaces - acoustically tuned, calibrated and beautifully integrated.

Whether you reach for the wall keypad, the tablet, your phone or your voice - the experience is the same. Considered, consistent, and quietly responsive.

Approach

How we deliver home theatre.

From a dedicated Dolby Atmos cinema to a media room that doubles as a lounge, our theatre work is engineered around the room itself: acoustics, sightlines, seating and light.

Every install is calibrated by hand so the system delivers reference picture and sound - not just specifications on paper.

A great cinema is 60% room, 30% speakers and 10% source components. Perth builders and interior designers routinely leave the room design last, which is why so many otherwise beautiful media rooms sound like a hallway. We involve ourselves at the schematic stage of any new build or major renovation so the room proportions, wall construction, ceiling height, HVAC pathway and seating riser are all right before framing.

For retrofits we work with what the room gives us - acoustic treatment on the walls, a false ceiling for Atmos speakers, careful screen placement, blackout blinds - and we're honest about what the room can and can't deliver.

Calibration is the last 10% that separates a good install from a reference-grade one. Every job we do gets measured with a calibrated microphone, room-corrected with Dirac Live, Trinnov or Audyssey, and hand-tuned by ear over a return visit. Most systems we're called in to fix have never had this done - which is why they sound tinny, muddy or dialogue-shy despite five-figure speaker budgets.

01 · Detail

Rooms designed before they're built.

The best cinemas we deliver are the ones we specified before framing. Wall construction (double-stud staggered, insulated cavities), ceiling height (2.7m+ for full Atmos), room ratio (avoid perfect cubes), HVAC (silent quantum ducting, not a wall split), and lighting (indirect, dimmable, no downlights in the sightline) - all decided at the schematic stage.

For renovations we do what we can within the constraints and are frank about the ceiling that puts on the final result.

  • 01Room ratio and construction advice from schematic through to lock-up.
  • 02Acoustic wall panels, bass traps and diffusers integrated into the millwork.
  • 03Quiet ducted air-conditioning with cinema-grade attenuation.
  • 04Riser platforms, cinema seating, star ceilings.
  • 05Dolby Atmos ready or full 7.2.4/9.4.6 immersive layouts.

Projection or 8K OLED - the honest trade-offs.

For rooms 4m+ deep with genuine light control, a 4K laser projector on a 120-150 inch acoustically transparent screen is still the reference. For rooms with any ambient light or shorter than 4m, an 85-98 inch Sony or LG OLED is the better choice - brighter, punchier, and a better daytime experience.

We don't sell one over the other on margin. We sell what fits your room.

  • 01Sony, JVC and Barco 4K laser projectors on acoustically transparent screens.
  • 02Sony, LG and Samsung 85-98 inch OLED and QD-OLED for media rooms.
  • 03Kaleidescape and Zappiti for reference-grade movie servers.
  • 04Trinnov, StormAudio and Marantz processors for immersive audio.

03 · Detail

Calibrated by ear, not just by software.

Room correction software (Dirac Live, Audyssey, Trinnov ART) is the starting point, not the finish line. Every system we commission goes through a second, ear-driven pass where we tune bass management, centre-channel intelligibility and Atmos overhead levels to how the room actually sounds with real content playing.

It's the difference between a system that measures well and one you actually want to watch films in.

FAQs

Frequently asked.

Quick answers to what Perth clients ask about home theatre. Anything we haven't covered? Get in touch.

Can I have Atmos in an existing room?

Yes - in-ceiling Atmos speakers can be retrofitted in most Perth homes with a false ceiling or accessible roof space. Reflective Atmos modules are the fallback.

TV or projector for a media room?

Rooms under 4m long: TV (85-98"). Rooms 4m+ with genuine light control: projector. Rooms 4m+ without light control: TV.

How much does a home theatre cost in Perth?

Media room with 85" TV and 5.1.2 Atmos $12-25k. Dedicated cinema with 4K projector and 7.2.4 $45-120k. Reference-grade Trinnov/JBL Synthesis $150-350k+.

Do you handle the room construction as well?

We specify it, coordinate with your builder or joiner, and commission the finished room. We don't build the walls ourselves.

How long does a full install take?

Retrofit media room: 3-5 days on site. Dedicated cinema in a new build: 2-4 weeks staged across construction plus commissioning.
